KIDS MINISTRY AT
COMPASSION CHURCH
At Compassion, our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way, while you get to worship and hear God's Word in the main sanctuary.

Our Compassion Babes (ages 0-18 months) are located in the nursery at the front of the church next to the merch wall. Our Compassion Tots (ages 18 months - 3 years), Compassion Littles (4 years old - 1st grade), and our Compassion Kids (2nd grade-5th grade) are located down the side hall and in the back of our building.

After checking in, our kids begin in a time of activities, snacks, praise/worship, and then get the day's lesson according to their age group and class.
COMPASSION KIDS
CHECK-IN
Here's what to expect when visiting Compassion kids ministries for the first time:
Upon entering our lobby, ask a hospitality volunteer to show you to the Kids Check-in kiosk located down the side hallway to your left in the lobby. There you will meet one of our team members and check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. The Compassion Kids church area is completely locked to anyone outside and monitored by security cameras and our security team. All volunteers are background checked and AED/CPR Certified as well.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
-
Parent/guardian name(s)
-
Child's name
-
Child's birth date
-
Home address
-
Phone number
-
Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
-
Favorite color
-
Favorite candy bar or candy
(Please bring any needed items for your child such as diapers, blankets they may desire, bottles, pacifiers, etc.)
We recommend you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the service (10:20) to give yourself time to get your children checked in and get seated in the sanctuary.

HOW CHECK-IN WORKS

Before Service: After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to the check-in kiosk and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. **Note: we will NOT release your child to anyone who doesn't have the matching tag!
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you will be sent a text message. Please exit upon receiving the text and find a volunteer at the check-in kiosk or welcome center for assistance.
